● What is M.2?

M.2 is formerly known as the Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF), this is newer and smallerformfactor that use the PCI Express interface. You can simply consider this as Mini "Minicard". This formfactor was introduced and widely applied on thin notebook computers, and tablet computers, to create a thinner, powerful unit.
